Gunite swimming pools have been around for more than 30 years.  This is really just a fancy term for a concrete swimming pool, but it is a particular kind of concrete.  The best thing about them is they lend themselves to a designer's every whim.  They can be shaped and carved out however the owner desires.  The sky is the limit, and these are typically the pools that you see in custom shapes and sizes.  Fiber glass and plastic underground pool are preformed and set the ground as is.  Though this is limiting, it is a good option for someone who simply wants a basic in ground pool to swim in.

Choosing the right pool requires finding the right mix of budget friendliness, size, shape, and aesthetic appeal.
